Community flows

The Community page, in the sidebar, lists flows other MultiShock users have published. You can import any of them into your own flows, and share yours. Sharing requires signing in with your PiShock account.

Importing a flow

  1. Open Community in the sidebar. Use Search community flows to narrow the list; results are shown 12 at a time.
  2. Each card shows the flow's description, tags, creator, and date, and whether you have the plugins it needs.
  3. Click a card for details, then Import into my flows.

Imported flows are added to your Flows list with "(Imported)" after their name, and they are stopped. Open one in the flow editor to check what it does and which shockers it targets before clicking Run. Treat a flow from someone else like any other automation that can shock: read it first, and test it with vibrations.

If the flow needs plugins you don't have, the details list them with a Get plugin link. The flow still imports, but its plugin nodes won't work until you install those plugins from Manage plugins → Browse.

Importing by ID

If someone gives you a share code, click Import by ID and paste it. Share codes look like flow:12345, and a plain number works too.

Sharing a flow

To publish a flow, open it in the flow editor and choose Share online from the ... menu, or right-click the flow in the Flows list and choose Share online. MultiShock saves the flow and uploads it.

An upload includes the flow's nodes and their settings, the wires, tags, and the plugins it needs. It does not include groups, wire corners, or variables, so a flow imported from the community has no groups.

Managing your uploads

The My uploads tab lists the flows you've shared, each marked Public or Private. On each card you can:

  • copy its share code, to send to someone directly,
  • Edit details: the name, description, tags, and List this flow publicly. Public flows appear in the community list for everyone; private ones are only visible to you.
  • delete the upload.

Editing an upload changes its details only, not the nodes in it.
