Text and number configuration

Create a module using capture setup, open Configure, then choose Text / number under Add target.

Select a text region

Use Arm Region Picker or Manual coordinates to select the text or counter. Keep unrelated labels outside the region. Click Test now and inspect the recognized text before adding a device action. OCR needs an available recognition engine; on Windows, check that the required language pack includes OCR support.

Choose what should trigger

ModeSettings
KeywordsEnter Keywords (comma separated) and choose whether to Ignore case.
NumbersConfigure Number Regex and Min Number Delta.
Keywords or NumbersEnables both sets of matching controls.

The number regex selects the numeric text to parse. Min Number Delta filters small changes between readings. Smoothing Frames reduces numeric jitter; Event Cooldown (ms) limits how often changes produce events.

With Scale action with number delta enabled, Delta for Max Intensity sets the numeric change that maps to the action's maximum intensity. Configure the action's shockers, type, intensity, and duration under Action Settings.

Improve recognition

Try Preprocess Scale for small text, Use thresholding to separate text from the background, or Invert colors where appropriate. Character Whitelist is a hint for engines that support it. Test after each change rather than changing every preprocessing option together.

Use OCR in a flow

Use OCR Detected to read the recognized text, keyword, numeric value, and delta. Leave the target's Shockers empty if the flow should handle the device command itself. Keep the target enabled and detection running.

If the text is correct but no event fires, check the selected mode, keywords, number regex, minimum delta, and cooldowns. If the recognized text itself is wrong, fix the region or preprocessing first.
