Image template configuration

Complete capture and module setup, then open the module's Configure page.

Create a template

  1. Under Add target, use Capture to select an image from the screen, or Upload to choose a PNG or JPG.
  2. Select the new target in the Targets list and leave its Enabled switch on.
  3. Choose Region Type to limit where the plugin searches. For a custom region, use Arm Region Picker or the coordinate inputs.
  4. Click Test now with the expected image visible, then test with it absent. Inspect the target's status before enabling a direct action.

Use a distinctive crop. A large background or changing text inside the template can make the match less reliable. Review the saved and current resolutions; the editor offers Auto-resize when they differ.

Tune matching

  • Detection threshold sets how close a match must be. Raise it if unrelated images match; adjust the crop or region before lowering it for missed matches.
  • Consecutive matches to trigger requires repeated matching frames before an activation.
  • Use color matching (slower) includes color in matching.
  • Multi-scale matching (slower) searches at several sizes, controlled by Scale range and Scale steps.
  • Require focused window restricts detection by Required process and/or Window title contains.

Set action settings and cooldowns after matching is reliable. To react in a flow, use Image Detected. To request one check from a running flow, see Detect Image.

If matching is unreliable

Confirm that the region still covers the image after moving a window or changing resolution. If the target matches continuously, check the cooldown rather than adding duplicate templates. If focus restrictions are enabled, test while the required game window is in the foreground.
