Subscription configuration
Use Subs / Gifted Subs to configure actions for subscriptions, shared resub messages, and gifted subscriptions. Complete Twitch connection setup first, then show Subs / Gifted Subs in the sidebar through Manage plugins.
Configure a tier
- Open Subs / Gifted Subs and leave the page's master switch Disabled while configuring it.
- Expand the Tier 1, Tier 2, or Tier 3 section you want to configure. Each tier has its own switch, settings, and Shockers selection.
- Select the shockers the tier may use and choose Mode: Brackets or Incremental.
- Configure that mode below, then enable the tier's switch and the page's master switch when ready. Changes save as you edit.
A new non-gift subscription or shared resub message uses a count of 1. A gift event uses the number of subscriptions in that gift event. Individual gift-recipient subscription events are skipped by this configuration to avoid repeating the gift action for every recipient.
Brackets
Choose Brackets to assign specific actions to subscription counts.
- Set Command Type to Shock, Vibrate, or Beep. For Shock, Warning Vibrate is available.
- Choose Matching: Round Down or Exact.
- Choose Add Bracket and set Subs, Intensity, Duration, and Mode. The bracket's mode chooses among the tier's selected shockers: All, Random, or Round Robin.
| Matching | Which bracket runs |
|---|---|
| Round Down | The highest subscription count that does not exceed the event's count. |
| Exact | Only a bracket whose Subs value equals the event's count. |
For example, with brackets at 1, 5, and 10, a gift of 7 subs uses the 5-sub bracket in Round Down mode and matches none in Exact mode. The configured action runs once for the event. Include a 1-sub bracket if you want ordinary subscriptions and shared resub messages to match.
You can also choose a section under Import from Cheers and click Convert to replace the tier's brackets with converted cheer brackets. Review the resulting counts and settings before enabling the tier.
Incremental
Choose Incremental to calculate one action from the event's subscription count. Configure Base, Max, and + /sub separately for intensity and duration, then choose the selection mode and command under Mode / Type.
Each value is calculated as:
Base + (subscription count - 1) × increment per sub
The result is capped at its Max. A count of 1 uses the base values. The count comes from the current event, not a running total across the stream.
For example, a duration base of 1 second, increment of 0.5 seconds, and maximum of 3 seconds produces 2 seconds for a gift of 3 subs and caps at 3 seconds for a gift of 10. Intensity is calculated independently.
See shared device settings for selection modes and Warning Vibrate.
Use subscriptions in a flow
Use Twitch Subscribe, Twitch Gift Subs, or Twitch Resub for raw events. These do not depend on the Subs / Gifted Subs configuration switches. If using Twitch Subscribe, check its Is Gift output when deciding whether to handle gift recipients.
Subscription Bracket Activated fires for gift events with a matching bracket, while the page and tier are enabled and the tier uses Brackets mode. It does not fire for ordinary subscriptions, resub messages, or Incremental mode.
The tier's direct action can run alongside a flow. To use only the bracket trigger, clear the tier's Shockers selection while keeping its switches enabled. To use only raw event triggers, you can disable the page's direct actions.
If a subscription does not trigger an action
- Confirm Twitch is connected and the page and matching tier are enabled.
- Check the event's tier; configuring Tier 1 does not configure Tier 2 or Tier 3.
- In Brackets mode, check the count and matching rule. Ordinary subscriptions and shared resub messages need a bracket that accepts 1.
- Select shockers for the tier and confirm they are loaded in MultiShock.
- For a bracket flow trigger, check that the event is a gift and the tier is in Brackets mode. Confirm the flow is running.
